What do I need to sign up?

All teachers on the Hoot Reading Teacher Network must meet our standard qualifications (listed below) and go through a four-step selection process, which includes a mocked lesson with a Teacher Specialist and background and abuse registry check(s). Our standard qualifications are:

• Degree in Education (acceptable degrees include but are not limited to a B.Ed, M.Ed, Ed.D, or Bachelors of Science/Arts in Education)
• Two years of in-class elementary teaching experience
• Strong communication skills
