If your student's Hoot Reading account was set up with your email:
You should receive an email from noreply@hootreading.com with a link to the Hoot Reading app. Follow this link to create your password.
Before your lesson(s), use your email and this password to log in to the Hoot Reading app.
If you have not received an email with a link to create your password, you can go to https://app.hootreading.com/forgot-password to reset your password or create a new one. Enter your email address, check your inbox for an email with a link, and follow that link to create your password.
Please make sure to check your junk / spam folders and to add noreply@hootreading.com to your contacts to ensure you are receiving all necessary communication for your lesson(s).
If your student's Hoot Reading account was set up with a student number:
The district or organization representative will need to log in to Hoot Reading using their email and password. On the Students page in the app, search for the student you are looking for and select the create or change password button. Once set the student can log in using their District ID, student ID and newly set password.
District representatives can follow the steps above to create or reset your password if needed.
